Catch an Ox by the tail
Pass the parcel
Make it scream
Pin it to the wall
Seems everything he did– gave me the finger:
Ordering the bloodiest meat on the menu
Blowing smoke in my face
Taking me to a wine bar when I am not drinking
Asking me questions when I cannot speak
Getting hammered and falling asleep Infront of TV,
hand down the front of his pants – for comfort
Took credit for acts of God
and disclaimed those I had composed
The good news is: we are not all hedonists
Some of us act without self-interest
We try to see through
the glass half-full of awareness
To climb the mountains at the bottom of the sea
And look into our own deceit
Giggling
Guiltless and completely free
